Decent option for a couple of nights in Henley-on-Thames with reasonable value. Breakfast at a large shared table was surprisingly enjoyable—met a lovely couple from Carlisle. Best to drive from the Henley end of the B480.

had the best time at handywater cottages. natalie and ray were super friendly and always smiling. the room was so clean and comfy with a lovely patio to chill out on. breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially the eggs from their happy hens! loved the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful garden, will def be back.
only downside was having to leave after just one night, wish we could stay longer. also, the roads leading there were a bit tricky at first.
